Purplenova is a ‘must-have’ Internet product that allows you to web-host and share files directly from your PC, running any version of MS Windows. Purplenova can be used to host all types of files including MS Office files, Media play-lists, Photo Albums, Webpages, Web-Sites and even Web-Services directly from your PC. There is no limit on the number of files or their size.
People who you choose to provide access to these files can access them through normal Internet Browsers using the file URL, without any plug-ins or additional software. Only the files you explicitly select for hosting are accessible. People DO NOT get access to your PC, nor can they write to or modify your files in any way. You can choose to make your transmissions SECURE, in which case the file contents are transmitted encrypted end-to-end, leveraging the SSL protocol.
Domain names are supported. You can host your files with your own domain name.
Setup is easy. You do not need to reconfigure your network or internet connection. You do not need any other software on your PC other than the 2.5MB installation.
